Unfortunately it also got me stuck a little while later wondering why Laravel's internal pagination won't work right and eventually noticed that the code above won't forward the query string (GET parameters, as in /news?page=3). After having another look around on the webs, I changed it to&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This does it for me.
